  1. Role Overview The regional IT Director is a highly collaborative role committed to achieving the highest standards of delivery of IT services in line with the Global lT and Regional team objectives. The role will involve project based work providing timely updates to the global team as well as managing day to day escalations and ensuring the smooth running of critical business applications and processes. This role includes the support of existing IT Regional team and the development of Operational plans to support the delivery of the Global IT Strategy. Duties and Responsibilities • Support the Global IT team in the delivery of an agile, flexible and scalable Global IT Strategy. • Collaborate with the global team delivering IT initiatives, overseeing regional projects and maintaining effective communication lines with all stakeholders • Provide leadership and support to regional IT teams. • A single point of contact for Regional Director for all IT service related matters within the Region. • Work closely with Regional Director, Service Line Directors and Production Teams to support all aspects of business as usual activities. • Project Manage Regional M&A projects leading project teams in the delivery of timely IT service Integration. • Develop a deep understanding of business processes and provide expertise in the design and delivery of IT Service solutions. • Work with production teams to identify opportunities for process automation • Keeps up to date with the latest technologies and makes recommendations for technology growth. • Delivery of superior-level service to end-user and clients, and functioning as point-of-contact for escalated issues to ensure appropriate response and focus of support teams. • Identify opportunities to reduce Regional cost by leveraging Global IT initiatives. • Accountable for support and maintenance of IT operations, including but not limited to Windows, systems, applications, monitoring, and response. • Monitors security compliance in accordance with standards, policies and procedures • Support the Global Service Delivery Manager to Improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of organisations mission • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including any initiative geared toward operational excellence • Work with the global team to develop IT team skills and provide technically knowledgeable, proactive, problem solving team members • Other duties as assigned Skills & Experience Required Technical Skills • Strong technical background with 5+ years’ experience in IT roles involving infrastructure support and project based work. • Ability to work on own initiative and drive business efficiencies through the effective use of technology • Demonstrable evidence of understanding of ITIL functions, processes and roles - Certification a plus. • Excellent organisational skills • Strong leadership and decision-making skills • Understanding of complex information and requirements • Good prioritisation skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans • Ability to explain complex systems in non-technical terms • An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints • Knowledge of current trends in the specific field. Behavioural Skills • Strong problem solving, analytical and oral/written communication skills. Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use judgment to prioritise tasks. • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
